(Gossard 2013) 42" Dip 10" Mid, Dor, Fra, RE, emo - maroon flower with a huge violet-blue eye zone, very green throat. The petals and sepals are edged in the same eye zone color. If you are hybridizing for dormant patterns, do not miss out on this one. Sib to 'Garden Butterfly' and 'Morpho Butterfly'. A great flower to cross with the patterned Carpenter introductions. Kids vary from deep blue eye zones to broken patterns. 3-4 way branching, 18-22 buds. Fertile both ways.
